The history of the Valle Stura dairy began on November 10, 1957, the day in which fresh milk and cheese were produced for the first time. The milk came - like today – exclusively from partners of the co-operative, who found themselves in agreement on one precise point: the high "Quality" that their product had to have. It was a choice that repaid the sacrifices and efforts of the breeders: you just need to think about what an essential meaning the quality has today and how it guides the purchases of the buyers towards one product instead of another. The partners of the cooperative immediately realized that the mountains, alpine meadows and pristine nature would have helped the cows to produce excellent milk, and so, in a short time, the dairy became a real milk factory, the reference point of the farm of the Stura, Grana and Maira valleys.
In 1969 the new plant was designed, which saw the light of day in the seventies: here, the quality and technological research still exist today, in harmony with the tradition to protect the authenticity of our raw material.
In 2007 the new plant for the production of ice cream was inaugurated, last piece - for now - of a production ever more attentive to the needs of consumers and their tastes.
